REPORTING SCHEDULE FOR NEW ADMISSION
(Academic Year 2021)
Gedu College of Business Studies would like to announce the reporting date for the First-Year students (New Cohort 2021). All first-year students selected for 2021 admission at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) MUST report to the college on 12-14th July 2021.
It’s flagrant to feel lost on the first day of reporting! But as you all enter the campus (newcomers) you will be assisted by various Student Leaders designated at different areas for necessary assistance and guidance. Along with Student Leaders, Student Service Officers (SSOs) and staff will also assist you all to find your respective rooms in the hostels.
Students along with the guardians/Parents reporting to the college will have to register with the Registration Team stationed at the various entry point. Students travelling from High-Risk Areas and who have availed of Quarantine Facilities will have to produce certificates on arrival. Students may call the SSO to provide the time of arrival if it is later than 08:00 PM in advance. All students and parents arriving at Gedu College of Business Studies will need to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols issued by the Ministry of Health, Bhutan. All the students coming from High-Risk Zone are hereby requested to make necessary arrangements for quarantine facilities to report to the college on given dates.
However, your stay in the college will depend on the sternness of the Covid-19 pandemic and further directives for the government. For now, the new students will be kept in the college campus. New students will be oriented in various programmes including teaching and learning. Meanwhile, the college management would like to extend our warm welcome to all the newcomers to the GCBS family.
*** This notification applies to only those students who are newly admitted in 2021 as regular candidates. Students who will be repeating in the first year are asked to report to college only from 30 th July – 1 st August 2021 as they have already undergone the orientation programme.
