On March 24, 2021, in light of Global money week, an event was observed including various activities; the main highlight being the official launching of the “Financial Literacy and Financial Technology” curriculum. It is an initiative of the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan (RMA) in collaboration with Gedu College of Business Studies. The event took place in Gedu College of Business Studies, Semkyed Tshokhang, graced by the chief guests; Dasho Nidup Dorji, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the Royal University of Bhutan, Dasho Penjor, Honorable Governor of Royal Monetary Authority, and officials from Royal Monetary Authority.
