There is CCTV surveillance in all the laboratories, library, and within the academic blocks.
GCBS has a decent collection of books and a good variety of journals, magazines, and newspapers. It also has space for study with well-furnished facilities. Students can borrow certain numbers of books at a time and return them to the library on or before the stipulated due dates.
The college boasts of having one of the best libraries among the colleges under the Royal University of Bhutan in terms of volume and the quality of collections. We have more than 17,000 volumes and assorted collections to cater to nearly 1,500 students and 140 staff. The library is operated and managed by a dedicated team of librarians. The library is kept open from 8.30 AM till 10.00 PM on weekdays and from 9.00 AM till 5.00 PM on weekends. The library has received a major facelift with the construction of a new building, installation of a security system, and library management on KOHA system.
The auditorium has a seating capacity of 400 students. Official functions, debates, discussions, seminars, and other activities are conducted in the hall regularly.
The college also has outdoor sporting areas for football, basketball, volleyball, khuru, and archery. In an effort to provide wholesome development to students, the college gives importance to all games and sports activities.
