Announcement for the short-listed candidates for the GCBS Entrance Test(GET)

GCBS is pleased to announce the short-listed candidates for the GCBS Entrance Test (GET) scheduled on 21 April 2024 for the six business programmes. Kindly note that only short-listed candidates are allowed to register and choose the Test Centres using the link provided:
https://vle.gcbs.edu.bt/course/view.php?id=865 . Use your index number (without 0 in front) as user name and date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY) as password.
For example: username: 12212345678 and password: 01-01-2004
The closing date of the Test Centre Registration is on 10 April 2024, and be informed that once registered, you cannot change the Test Centre under any circumstances.
Examination Details:
The GET consists of a Personal statement, Personality trait and Aptitude.

  1. Personal Statement (10%)
    This is an opportunity for prospective students to express motivation for applying to the programme/s. The applicant may write personal statements for all three programmes if you wish to apply for all the three programmes under each Programme Category. Each statement can be a maximum of 250 words.
    If Personal Statement is not written for specific programme/s, your application will not be considered for those programme/s for which you have NOT submitted the personal statement.
    Personal Statement will be used for checking your enthusiasm and suitability for the degree programmes offered at GCBS. Every applicant is unique, and you are expected to show what makes you a strong candidate in your personal statement. You are expected to convince the College that you have evidence/apt that meets these criteria in your personal statement.
  2. Personality Trait (10%)
    The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) will be used to determine personality types and match a student’s interest with their preferred Programme Category.
  3. Aptitude Test (20%)
    This is to test your aptitude and competence required for the business programmes with respect to Language, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Awareness of Global Affairs.
