    Rinchen Dorji has been a faculty member at the Gedu College of Business Studies (Royal University of Bhutan) since 2009. He holds a PhD in Economics from Nagoya University, Japan, where he specialized in applied and policy-oriented economic research. Rinchen\'s research interests encompass a broad range of development and applied economics topics, including foreign direct investment (FDI), migration and remittances, economic inequality, economic growth, and efficiency analysis. His methodological expertise lies in the application of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modeling and econometric techniques to examine economic relationships and policy impacts. At GCBS, Rinchen teaches Econometrics, International Trade, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Business Economics to undergraduate business students. Beyond teaching, he has been actively involved in research and consultancy projects with various national agencies and institutions, including the Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement, and the Bhutan Development Bank Limited (BDBL), among others. His academic and professional engagements reflect a deep commitment to advancing evidence-based economic policymaking and contributing to Bhutan’s sustainable economic development.
