Master of Business Administration (Finance, HRM & Marketing)

Our 18 months full time MBA (Finance, HRM and Marketing) is a flagship programme of the Royal University of Bhutan. It is an advanced qualification designed for top-notch graduates who will set the future wave of financial markets and lead those innovative organizations.

Participants of our MBA programme will bring rich diversity of work experience, age group, gender, culture and educational backgrounds that transforms into knowledge and human skills which are pervasive in dynamic organization. Our MBA programme will provide these cutting edge skills required for sustainable business models.

Unlike other Universities, we give an undivided attention to our MBA participants in terms of resources and faculty engagement. We draw our faculties from the pool of world class management institutions such as IIM (A), IIM (C), and Stockholm School of Business; and proven corporate leaders who withstood the hard times of global economy and who can decipher issues. Most of our modules will be taught by case methods and simulations.

Intellectual growth and fervor are the bedrock of our MBA programme. Our participants decisively invest their time in contextualizing and synthesizing contemporary issues of financial management and developing pragmatic solutions. The participant’s learning culminates in conceptualizing and completing a 60 credits group consultancy project. The ideal participants to this programme, therefore, will be those individuals aspiring to develop their career to its fullest potential, at an accelerated pace.

Entry Requirements


ntry to the MBA programme is open to any graduate who has a university degree from a recognized university or equivalent GPA (Grade Point Average). However, the final admission will be determined by the applicant’s performance in Graduate Selection Test. As a thumb rule, applicants must score minimum of 50 percent in GST. This admission procedure is applicable to both domestic as well as international applicants.

Bridge Course


uccessful applicants are recommended to take our bridge course in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Economics, if they have not done any of these subjects in their prior qualifications. The bridge course will be offered for 2 weeks (equivalent to 60 hours or 6 credits).

The bridge course will cover fundamental concepts and principles in accounting, corporate finance and economics that will facilitate participants to make smooth transition to MBA programme.



articipants must pay full tuition fees. Fees indicated here do not cover living expenses for participant or the family accompanying him or her. However, the college will provide much affordable residential homes for participants and the accompanying family members. All fees must be paid at the time of enrollment either in the form of cheque or draft payable to Gedu College of Business Studies.

Scholarship The Royal Government of Bhutan will provide scholarship for 21 candidates. This scholarship will cover full tuition fees and a living expense or monthly stipend of Nu. 1,500. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the Graduate Selection Test’s (GST) result.
