Who We Are
Established in 2008, Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS) is a premier constituent college under the
Royal University of Bhutan (RUB), dedicated exclusively
to business and management education.
Located in the scenic town of Gedu, the college occupies a 184.5-acre campus originally developed by the Tala Hydroelectric Project. GCBS was founded following the transfer of the Commerce Department from Sherubtse.

Accredited & Recognised
Accredited & Recognised
GCBS holds an A+ grade from BQPCA and is accredited by ACCA, SHRM and CIM. Accreditation by CMI and CIPD is in progress, along with certification to ISO 21001 and ISO 14001. We are members of AACSB, EFMD and AMBA-BGA, and our goal is to earn accreditation from all three by 2032.
