Varun Goel

Varun Goel is Associate Professor of Management and Law at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan, which he joined in July 2026. He is also a practising advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, with a criminal defence practice before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and district courts. His qualifications span commerce, finance, management, political science and law, and he is currently pursuing a PhD at Kurukshetra University.

He previously served as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Management Studies at Webster University, Bangkok, teaching strategic management, entrepreneurship, business law, human resource management and international finance. His banking experience includes global payments investigation roles at Bank of America and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, with a focus on sanctions and OFAC compliance. His research interests include human resource management, entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic leadership and corporate governance.
