Biography
Namgay Dorji is a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting at Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS), Royal University of Bhutan, where he has been a faculty member since October 2011. He has served the College as BBA Programme Leader (2020–2021) and Area Coordinator for Finance (2015–2020).
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from GCBS, and has completed the University Teaching Programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at Samtse College of Education.
Beyond the College, he has been External Examiner for the Bachelor of Commerce at Norbuling Rigter College, a member of the expert panel reviewing the BBA and BCom programmes at Royal Thimphu College, and Adjunct Faculty at the College of Science and Technology. His consultancy work includes customer satisfaction surveys for Druk Holding and Investments, a revenue model for the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the joint certificate programme in Financial Literacy and FinTech with the Royal Monetary Authority.
His published research covers leadership styles, emotional intelligence, graduate tracer studies and student academic performance.
