Dawa Zangmo

Dawa Zangmo is an Associate Lecturer at Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS), Royal University of Bhutan, and has more than a decade of experience in higher education within the university. Before joining GCBS, she served as an Associate Lecturer at the College of Language and Culture Studies, Taktse, Trongsa (now known as Trongsa College of Heritage and Contemporary Studies) from April 2013 to June 2024.

She holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Lovely Professional University, India (2022), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Honours) from Sherubtse College. During her postgraduate studies she published a paper on sentiment analysis of the U.S. election in the AIP Conference Proceedings of ICAAMS-2022.

She has taught computer skills for more than nine years, and her technical skills include Python, PHP, HTML and data mining. She has completed Coursera certifications in Python, research methods and smart contract development. She was awarded the Bhutan Civil Service Bronze Medal in recognition of a decade of continuous service to the government.
