hub Dorji is a Lecturer in English at Gedu College of Business Studies. He teaches Academic Skills and Language and Grammar to undergraduate students.

Prior to joining the college, Dorji spent nearly 10 years with the Ministry of Education, Bhutan as an English teacher. He facilitated the national level twenty First Century Teaching Pedagogies and English for Effective Communication professional development programmes for the teachers of Bhutan. In addition, he facilitated Dzongkhag level professional development programmes in Academic Writing Skills and 21 st Century Teaching and Research Education. He is one of the recipients of the coveted “Givers Award” from Mahidol University, Thailand. His professional journey is presented below in brief.

2010 — 2011: He served as Officiating Principal, Kidu Focal person, Tarayana Coordinator, Staff Secretary, School Health Coordinator, and School Agriculture Program Coordinator at Jangbi Community Primary School, Trongsa.

2011— 2012: He served as Teacher In-charge at Tashi Pokto Extended Classroom (ECR), Trongsa, Bhutan.

2012— 2015: He served as School Professional Development Coordinator, Staff Secretary, Clean & Green Trongsa' Project Coordinator, School Disaster Management Coordinator, School Management Team Member, School Health Coordinator, Nature Club Coordinator, and Democracy Club Coordinator at Trongsa Primary School, Trongsa.

2015—2018: He served as Staff Secretary, School Management Team Member, Dzongkhag PISA-D Focal Person, Professional Development Coordinator, and Vice-Principal at Sherubling Higher Secondary School, Trongsa.

He is interested in research works in the field of language and literature, applied linguistics, teaching and learning approaches, life skills education, school/college culture, behavior and discipline, leadership and management, etc.
