Mr. Jamyang Tenzin is the Dean of Academic Affairs. He has been serving Gedu College of Business Studies, since 2008. He holds first distinction in Master of Computer Application from West Bengal University of Technology.
He is a lecturer of Information and Communication Technology. He teaches Introduction to Computer and Business Application, Database Management System and Management Information System. During his tenure at Gedu College, he served as the controller of examination for the college from July 2011 till July 2017. He is also staff advisor of examinations from July 2017 till date. In last 11 years of his services, he was members of various committee such as examination committee, college academic committee, and programme committee. He initiated and developed web-based examination system at the college.
Apart from teaching, he also supervised and monitor Research Project for the undergraduate and as well as for Post Graduate students. His current research focus on factors affecting the honour programme participation at Gedu College of Business Studies funded by Gedu College (2017) and secured AURG (Annual University Research Grant) for collaborative overload among the Royal University of Bhutan employees (2018). Some of his research consultation projects include Net Promoter Score and Employee Engagement Studies of Bhutan National Bank Ltd (2016), Nutrition and Economy of Bhutan funded by Bhutan Foundation (2015), Customer Satisfaction Studies for Bhutan Development Bank (2013) and Socio-Economics and Social Impact Assessment of 570MW Wangchu Hydro Electric Project of SJVNL, India (2012).
As a testament to his unparallel professional caliber, Mr. Jamyang Tenzin was awarded the Service Excellence Award (2018) from the college. He also received a coveted Bronze medal for his 10 years dedicated services to the TSA-WA-Sum.
