Professional Experience

Rinchen Dorji is a full time faculty at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. He has an MBA (International Business) from Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, India. He completed his post-graduate studies in 2017. He has graduated his undergraduate programme in BBA (Accounting) from Gedu College of Business studies, Royal University of Bhutan in 2011. He also pursued Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) in 2018 from Samtse College of Education, Royal University of Bhutan.

He joined Gedu College of Business Studies in 2011. During his 9 years of teaching profession, he taught Accounting Principles, Accounting for Managers, Strategic Management and International Business. Currently he is teaching MGT307 Strategic Management to B.Com fifth semester.

(b) Resource Inventory and Business Opportunity for Cottage and Small Industry under production and manufacturing sectors in 2015 (Business Opportunity and Information Centre)

(c) National Survey for Rural House Classification in 2011 (Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited)

In addition, he guided few graduate research projects. He supervised MBA consultancy on ‘Market Analysis of Organic Vegetables in Punakha and Wangdue Dzongkhag’ for College of Natural Resources in 2017 and ‘Digital Strategy for Logistics and Transportation’ for State Mining Corporation Limited, Samtse in 2019.
