urna Prasad Sharma is an assistant professor in the faculty of Accounting and Finance at Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. He has over 15 years of teaching experience in different colleges in India and Bhutan.

He teaches accountancy and finance at the under-graduate and post graduate levels and has published numerous research papers in national and international journals.

He is the editor of the college journal and book entitled “Bhutan Journal of Business and Management” and “Rural Development in Bhutan – Prospects and Challenges, Vol – I”.

He has facilitated workshops on “Advance Financial Management” for various companies in Bhutan. He has also helped design the syllabus for B.Com and MBA for the present institution.

He is keen on undertaking research projects on rural development and microfinance related areas.
