TSUGLA LOPOEN GRACES THE INDUCTION NITE!!!! 7/08/10
Gaeddu college of Business Studies has much to enjoy, admire and more to learn. The fresher were given a cordial welcome by the faculties and the senior students as an attempt to have a fresh start and turn a new leaf over.
7th August, 2010 was an epoch-making day for the students of first year. It was a marvelous and majestic Induction Nite for the fresher to have a magnum feeling for the college and to get to know the senior students. It was the privilege of the senior students to accord them a grand welcome which was done by staging genres of cultural items in the most befitting manner. The cynosure of the programme was the presentation that was in tune with the culture and tradition of Bhutan. GCBS is always known for upholding this culture and will continue to be known by it as it is one of the chief values of the college that we always endeavor to achieve in order to contribute in our own little way towards the intensification of one of the pillars of Gross National Happiness, “preservation and promotion of culture and tradition”.
All the events of the day were highlighted fabulously by the holy presence of His eminence Tsugla Lopen of the Central monastic body.
Besides, the presence of many distinguished guests from the Royal University of Bhutan, senior management of THPA and various Lams & lopoen were also at hand to watch the steering programs staged in the college Auditorium. |
